I had seen this post on another board:
"Have a question for anyone wishing to comment. Having trouble removing the black writting off the pvc pipe. Tried ACETONE, OOPS,GOO GONE, SOLVENT, MINERAL SPIRITS, and a few other products. Nothing works , so I used my belt sander with fine paper. Works, but theres go to be a better way."
My comment would be to spray paint it white. This would be faster than sanding I would think. Anybody else have a better solution to this persons dilema?
Clear pvc primer will remove most of it. Fingernail polish remover might work also. Some of the ink they use for the writing soaks into the pores. If you can get most of the lettering off with either of these products, all that is needed is a quick dusting of spray paint to finish it.
