June 27, 2009, as the first National Cornhole Day and the last Saturday in June every year after.
The idea for this came from one of the American Cornhole Organization agents, Rocky Conteduca from Las Vegas, Nevada. Rocky believed it would be really cool if each city across America picked a certain park or location that all players in that region could converge on with their boards and bags and just start playing the game with strangers and friends.
