The world champion Matt Guy had asked me to call him tonight and we had spoken for over an hour on the phone. He said that one of the most overlooked rules here in the St. Louis area cornhole tournaments is that your partner in a doubles tourney has to stand at the other end "directly across" from their partner. There also can't be any rotation within the tossing box between opponents during a match. This is per ACO and ACL rules. ACA rules are not the way of the future, and to develop the sport we should really abide by ACO and ACL rules.
Also, he said that in the 3x4 pitchers box, you can have at least one foot in the 3 ft. section when moving side to side and there is not limit standing back. Thanks Matt for the clarification.
