BREAKING NEWS: Lots of pro players are ditching the ACO (American Cornhole Organization). Here are a few excerpts for just a few from today's posts on Facebook:
"I just got my jersey from the doubles championship from the ACO today. Ask about my money Frank told me 4 to 6 more weeks. And since nothing was said about me in Cortez winning the double championship on ESPN, getting our Jersey late and no money. I have come to a conclusion that I would not be playing in anymore ACO tournaments. I would miss all the people I have met in the ACO and play with in tournaments over the course of time. I will continue to play cornhole but only in the ones that payout the day of the tournament. I still love the ACO organization but not the way they payout ( if you pay in advance you should get paid the day of the tournament). Looking forward to see you cornhole players in future tournaments. -- Rick Mayes" -----------------------------------
"We'll guess I have made up my mind I'm not going to do all of this traveling for the aco anymore so I guess I just lost a great partner. I may still play in some aco tournaments not sure just cost to much. And who knows when we will get our money from the worlds? So good luck to everyone. I'm not quitting Cornhole just the aco -- Jimmy McGuffin"
And the list will surely grow and grow and grow .......................

Another pro jumps on the hasta la vista list:
"In light of the posts by Jimmy Mcguffin and Rick Mayes I'll post my plans as well. I, like Jimmy, am taking a leave from the American Cornhole Organization for the most part. Ill play a close major because I know THE PLAYERS are going to organize a prize pot but I'm not doing the traveling just to wait now 7 weeks on my money. Im sure I'll still see everyone at the tournaments that actually have cash payouts, you guys always show. For every who is playing, good luck to you on the season. --- Cody Henderson"
