Indoor Safe Washers for Tossing

Thanks to feedback from a customer during a recent indoor rental from us, St. Louis Game Rentals now offers indoor-safer versions of our washers for those playing inside. We did some research online and found a company out of California called Wicked Eye (www.wickedeye.net/) that sold an indoor safe version of washers for tossing.   We purchased some and am please to report they will suit our rental games business well.   Their washers are 2 1/2" round and consist of a 2-layer design.  The inner design is a hard plastic and the outer portion is a hard rubber.   When I say hard, from a scale of 0-10, their washers are about a 7.   It is not soft, but if you take your finger nail and push on it you can feel it is a hard rubber.   This is much better than tossing metal washers indoors, which can really do some damage to walls and glass.   The Wicked Eye washers are only 1.1 ounces each, whereas my 2" metal washers are 1.4 ounces each, but they will suffice for the purposes needed.    My wife and I tossed a few at our 20' distance that we play at and they landed in the washers box just fine without bouncing out.  If the hard rubber would have been softer, then that would have allowed for more bounce, which is not good.  So with their outer washer surface been semi-hard and not metal-hard, plus them weight a bit less makes them a keeper for indoor play.   I highly recommend.
