In England back in the 1940s, Spalding made Bowls Darts. They marked them War Grade. A WW II era item. This unusual game for two players is a combination of darts and bowls and would have been played outside on ones lawn. The white bowl/dart (jack) is tossed underarm and then each player tries to get theirs closer to the jack. Just like Bocce Ball. In fact, this game is mix between Bocce Ball and Lawn Darts. The set consist of nine bowls/darts and each bowl/dart measures just over 7 inches long. I've been looking for this old kind of darts for a very long time. Does anyone know if you can buy the same kind of darts now? Maybe they sell it at some kind of auction?
