Well, needless to say, I'm now addicted this game of Cornhole. More than any other tossing game I've found. Ladder Golf, Washers and Jarts will come in a close second I'm sorry to say. This came about after A LOT of play this weekend. I recently purchased the plastic cornhole set because I do a lot of outdoor stuff like camping, canoeing, etc., and this weekend we had our big Memorial Day get together down at the lake here in Missouri. Well, unfortunately, it was a on and off rainfest. However, since I came prepared for fun, the plastic Cornhole set that I brought with the all-weather bags allowed the party to continue outside in the rain. If this would have been the wooden set with real cornhole corn-filled bags, well, you might as well as hung it up. Here's some of my family tossing some resin filled bags at the plastic cornhole boards. For those who say plastic cornhole bites, well, to each their own. It was a party saver this weekend! Common Question: Was the plastic slippery than the wooden version? If tossed straight lined, then yes. This is something that needs to be compensated for. The trick is to toss the bag with an arch. This will allow the bag to set on the board without sliding off generally.

Just washed them in the washing machine and now they are air drying. Try that with the corn filled bags! Oh, also, yes they DO emit dust when dry when hitting the board just like the corn filled bags do. When this resin breaks down, it mimics a corn filled bag. I was very impressed when I saw the poof of dust when the bags hit the boards. NOTE: All that I want to tell folks is that this is a great alternative for moisture rich days and events compared to the general Cornhole game that wouldn't be able to hack such conditions.

UPDATE: Well, we played another looooooong marathon of Cornhole tonight with the plastic set over at a friends house who has never heard of the game. In the beginning, the boards and bags were dry and the newbies that we were teaching the game had to master the art of arching the bag to set it on the board without sliding off vice tossing them straight on. However, a light sprinkle of rain came through and moistened the bags up and coated the plastic boards well. This GREATLY IMPROVED play! The wetness allowed the bags to stick very well when thrown and even well after the sprinkles stopped, the moist bags worked out very well the rest of the night. Sure, the slide wasn't there much, but for newbies, that's not an issue. They don't like slide. LOL

So where would one buy the plastic boards and the resin bags? Is that what is soon to come?
