What is the difference between Schedule 40 PVC and 200 PSI PVC? It seems the 200psi is about a buck cheaper per length. It would be the same diameter, but must be a thinner wall? Has anyone built a ladder game using 200 psi?

200 PSI is a thinner wall. Schedule 40 should say the PSI rating on it. If the PSI rating his higher than 200, then the inner wall will be thicker. The 200 PSI is cheaper since it uses less PVC to make it. However, this could pose the PVC to be too flimsy. I haven't looked into using it, since schedule 40 was usually the way to go. If you don't think it'll be too flimsy after the ladder is constructed, then go for it.

I went out and bought SCH 40 today, but I may try one with the thinner stuff. I compared them side by side at the store...the thinner stuff may work since it's in shorter lengths.

After using the Sch 40 and playing for a while tonight, I don't believe 200 psi would be worth a try. I'll keep using Sch 40.
